Sampling Conditioning System Training

On 26-30 September 2011 and 24-28 June 2013 PT. Global Haditech organize the Only One Process Analyzer Sampling System Training in Indonesia. The training conducted by inviting PT. Global Haditech customer as PT. Pertamina (Persero) all Refinery Unit, PT. Pusri  and PT. Rekayasa Industri. The purpose of this training is to provide us with an opportunity to make better sampling system for process analyzer more reliable, and we learn of sampling system from the process line & tap through transport lines, stream switching, sample conditioning, analyzer and disposal.

 

The instructor of our first training is Tony Waters who has over 50 years of experience with process analyzers and their sampling systems. He is an expert at using them in refineries and chemical plants, and founded three companies providing analyzer services to process industries. The instructor of our second training is Craig Beck with more than 20 years of experience on process analyzer. He is able to provide expertise and independent consulting services, assisting refineries and chemical processors worldwide to achieve increased profits through the optimal use of process analyzers.

 

 

In 5 days learning on this process analyzer sampling system training course, we learn on work group with customer and do some case study so after this engaging, hands-on training, we return to work with valuable knowledge and skills as follows:

 

1.     Diagnose sample transport problems

2.     Evaluate and determine sample tap location, select an appropriate probe.

3.     Calculate and optimize sample transport lag (or time delay )

4.     Calculate pressure drop in a fast loop or return line

5.     Calculate flow rate for a gas and liquid

6.     Avoid or account for adsorption and permeation

7.     Predict how much vapor will condense in a sampling system

8.     Prevent or control phase separation

9.     Vaporize a sample, if and when it appropriate

10.  Avoid deadlegs in a sampling system

11.  Read and create sampling system schematics

12.  Design and build a sampling system
